U12 A - MATCH REPORTS.

Round 1 - Berwick 9 def. Preston 5.

The team played its first Major League game coming up against Preston. Joel Croft started on the hill and was throwing strikes from the start. We were down 1 run early, but came back to take the lead on some big hits from brothers Elliott and Spencer. The boys defence was unbelievable as they turned a rare 1-5-3 double play, they also picked a runner off third base and nailed another at home plate. Other big hits went to Liam, Max and Jaxson. The boys finished off the game taking home a 9-5 win.
