Pitching was fantastic Martin Kennedy and Stuart Brunton again where standouts and Brad Hubbard and Tim Laird both shut the door and got the saves the 1sts a little bit closer than the 2nds,both sides keep putting the ball in play and grinding away.Well done guys."

Round 1 - Berwick 6 def. Preston 3.

The 1st had good win, Martin Kennedy threw 8 1\3 to secure the 1sts there cherry popping win in div 2 not forgetting some outstanding defense by Tim Moon in left and a timely home run by Shaun Fahy late in the game to stretch the lead from 1 to 3 runs.
