Baseball - Sausage Sizzle – Skills Tests

On August 29 th , 1908 the American fleet arrived in Melbourne for a week of celebration and activity. At the time US President Theodore Roosevelt's initiative was described as the most ambitious cruise ever undertaken. The reception the American crew received in Melbourne was enthusiastic, and a true testament to the friendship shared between the United States of America and the Commonwealth of Australia.

To commemorate this week's visit of the USS John S. McCain to Melbourne , Australia 's oldest baseball club, St .Kilda, will play a friendship baseball game against the crew of the USS McCain this Saturday afternoon.

Bring your family and friends to a special baseball competition to celebrate the centenary of the Great White Fleet's visit to Australia .

*  FREE ENTRY, bring a chair or blanket since seating is limited.
